On our first date, I asked her, "Who is your favorite Doctor Who companion?" She said, "Rory Pond." Even though Donna Noble is the correct answer, I knew she was a keeper. Because those are our shared values - love, loyalty, passion, and creating a shared life together where we both get to be our best selves. I am my best self when I am with Christianna and I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life sharing it with her.

For my version, let's flash past the first date, past a realm where I thought I knew movies because I LOVED MOVIES. Kris introduced me to universes I did not know were out there and into the glow of safe spaces at home, something bubbly, meat roses, and where Cher won an Oscar and Nick Cage gave his right hand. Coincidentally, we confessed our love for the first time outside under a lover's moon, and I've been moonstruck ever since.
